Waterkeeper Alliance and two of its 300-plus members, Maryland-based Waterkeepers Chesapeake and California Coastkeeper Alliance, are suing the EPA. They aim to force compliance with Safe Drinking Water Act deadlines written by Congress in 1996 that require reviewing and revising the standards for chromium, solvents, the Legionella bacteria and other pathogens in drinking water.
